Currently living in San Diego working for a Fortune 500 management consulting company while getting my own social enterprise in East Africa off the ground. Previously worked in Gulu, Uganda as the Director of Business with 31 Bits where I sought innovative ways to combine impact and business yielding the most impact for the least cost (something that shockingly no one else does).
This blog serves to shed light on the experience of conducting business in a poor African community and unending drive to bring people out of poverty as well as commentary on current trends in and around the development industry.
Before moving to Uganda I worked for nearly three years with a management consulting company in San Diego doing finance and quantitative analysis with the Navy. It was during this time that I networked and traveled abroad to find the right opportunity to pursue my true passions, business and international development. I hold a Master’s in International Affairs from UCSD and a BS in Business Economics from Azusa Pacific University.
